Tom now serves as a consultant to the business. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, is an alumni of Grand Rapids High School and graduated from Bemidji State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting. Always interested in the glass business, Tom started working at Anderson Glass Co., Inc. when he was 14 years old, sweeping the floors and learning the trade, moving up through the ranks until he purchased the business from the owner, Dick Anderson, in 1984. Under Tom's ownership, the business grew into the operation it is today.
Tom enjoys northern Minnesota and the outdoors with family and friends. In his spare time, you will find him hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling with his wife of 38 years, Ann.
Education:1990 graduate of Grand Rapids high School and a 1994 graduate of St. John's University with a degree in Business Management.
Derek started out in the glass business working summers at Anderson Glass. He chose the glass industry as his full time profession in 1995 when he moved back to Grand Rapids and joined his father as a salesman. He has been co-owner with his brother since 2006. Derek's main focus is on the residential side of the business, the financial aspects of running a business, and business relationship development. Derek is active in the community through his time spent currently as a board of director member of the Northern Minnesota Building Association and the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee. In the past, he has served on the board of directors for the Itasca County YMCA and City of Grand Rapids Economic Development Authority.
Derek's hobbies include, hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching whatever sports his 2 boys are playing at the time with his wife of 10 years, Sarah.
Education:1994 graduate of Grand Rapids high School and a 1998 graduate of Saint John’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
Chris started working at Anderson Glass when he was 14 years old sweeping floors during the summer and after school. After college, Chris went to work for Minneapolis Glass Company for 1 year as a Project Manager. In July of 1999, Chris decided to move back home and work for his father at Anderson Glass.
In January of 2006, Chris, along with his brother, purchased the company. Today, his main focus is the Commercial Glazing Department and Commercial Contract Sales. Chris also specializes in Custom Shower Doors and Glass Railing Systems.
Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and many other outdoor activities. He lives with his wife Cindy and his two boys, Will and Drew.
